Who We Are and Where We’re Going
TurningPoint is led by persons with disabilities in Bangladesh and advances inclusion through community leadership and responsible use of technology.
TurningPoint Foundation (TurningPoint) is an independent, non-profit organisation in Bangladesh, led by persons with disabilities and committed to advancing dignity, rights, and full inclusion of persons with disabilities and other marginalised groups. Free from religious or political affiliation, we strengthen capacity and advocacy to expand equitable opportunities.
As a nationally recognised Organisation of Persons with Disabilities (OPD), we place persons with disabilities at the centre of decision-making, programme design, and governance. Through partnerships, training, and collective action, we strengthen community-based organisations (CBOs), OPDs, and grassroots initiatives to enable meaningful participation.
The name “TurningPoint” reflects our belief that challenges can become opportunities for transformation. Guided by hope and resilience, we apply responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) and accessible digital approaches to advance inclusive livelihoods, Inclusive SRHR, and climate justice and resilience — and to strengthen policy influence and systems change.
