Our Work

Focus Areas

From July 2025 to June 2028, TurningPoint Foundation focuses on three connected priorities that reduce exclusion in livelihoods, essential services, and climate resilience — supported by responsible, accessible digital methods.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Livelihoods and Empowerment

We advance an inclusive digital economy by equipping marginalised youth and persons with disabilities with practical AI and digital skills, mentorship, and market connections for dignified work, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and sustainable income.

  • Practical AI-enabled and digital work skills
  • Mentoring, peer learning, and professional networks
  • Engagement with employers, platforms, and marketplaces
  • Accessible remote work and freelancing pathways
  • Support for entrepreneurship and micro-enterprise

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

We strengthen an inclusive SRHR movement by combining community leadership with accessible information, services, and responsible digital tools—so individuals can make informed choices and seek care safely, confidently, and without discrimination.

  • Accessible communication formats and assistive approaches
  • Community facilitators and trusted local support networks
  • Rights awareness linked to practical service navigation
  • Responsible digital and AI tools to simplify reliable information
  • Evidence-informed dialogue with service institutions

Inclusive Climate Justice and Resilience

We promote an inclusive climate justice movement by supporting communities, especially persons with disabilities and other marginalised groups, to participate in preparedness, risk communication, and local adaptation planning—recognising them as contributors to solutions.

  • Inclusive community risk mapping and preparedness planning
  • Accessible early warning communication using appropriate digital tools
  • Training local actors in inclusive disaster response
  • Participation in local planning and decision-making forums
  • Collaboration with authorities and response actors
Why these areas

How the priorities connect

These priorities address interconnected barriers across livelihoods, services, and climate resilience. Access to income supports independent decision-making, accessible services support wellbeing and rights, and inclusive preparedness protects participation during crises. Across all three, we use responsible and accessible digital tools (including AI where appropriate) with human facilitation and community leadership.

Community leadership

Partners and people with lived experience shape priorities, methods, and review.

Institutional engagement

We support practical adoption of inclusive approaches within routine systems and services.

Responsible digital methods

Technology is used to remove barriers and expand participation—with safeguards and oversight.

Responsible technology, real-world outcomes

We use accessible digital tools, including AI where appropriate, to simplify information, extend reach, reduce communication barriers, and support decision-making — while ensuring human facilitation, trust, accountability, and safeguarding.
